Photography is the beauty of life captured
WHO AM I?
Photography is my passion.
For me photography is not about what camera I have, the lens I carry, even how many people like and follow my work. It's about getting out there and enjoying the world. My camera has taken me and my friends to places we would never have even dreamed about going.
I live in the Strand (close to Cape Town), so the photo opportunities are endless. I love capturing light at different times of day and even use a torch or lamp to bring out my subject in the best possible way.
My kit includes a Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 60D, Canon 550D (#teamCanon), a Canon 18-135mm lens, Canon 10-18mm lens, Canon 50mm lens and a Sigma 18-250mm lens (#teamSigma).
My History
Many people say I am a passionate artistic person. Other than my photographic passion, I enjoy playing guitar and singing too. I love the arts and bringing something to life, whether it be a photo or a song.
I started by using my family's digital camera and now more than 16 years and 120 000 photos later, I'm putting my work and services up for sale. I've done a few weddings and events, but I mainly focus on property and nature fine art photography.
Recently my wife, Bennita and I have started a vlog. It is called BrownBearsVlog. Vlogging has taken us to many beautiful and excited locations. Please do check out our channel and subscribe to it.
